Integrated Dental Marketing (IDM) was established in 2001 with the sole purpose of assisting the dental profession with design and marketing solutions.

Integrated Dental Marketing was launched in 2001 by Founder and Managing Director Carl Burroughs.

Carl had already established a successful agency, which was focused on helping the SME market utilise cost-effective marketing to build their businesses. Through this agency he took on a number of dental practice clients.

The deregulation of marketing around the dental profession had only happened a few years prior and Carl soon realised that dentists had no access to informed marketing advice specifically for their profession.

In the first few years, a great many hours where spent attending dental conferences and working very closely with a few dental practices to gain an in-depth insight into how best market a dental practice. This insight was also enhanced through Carl’s decision to initially only employ project managers from within the profession.

Over the next decade IDM went on to launch the fastest ever growing dental practice in Australia, introduce the first ever dedicated patient finance system, run a national dental TV campaign and help in the formation of a major dental group.

More importantly however, IDM stayed committed to helping individual dentists and practices and to build a reputation of always going the extra mile for clients – a trait of the business that is more evident today than ever.
